The owners of Quail Lodge wanted to bring this venerable resort and golf club
into a new generation. Over the years, the existing landscape had become extremely
overgrown. Rather than completely removing elements of the old garden, we took extreme
care to retain some of the spectacular specimens, including climbing roses and
bignonia and trumpet vines. Old wooden trellises were dismantled while new steel
ones were gently put into place, lifting the old vines to their new position. The
owners got an updated look throughout the property without sacrificing the charm
only mature plants can bring to a landscape.
