We we brought in on this project after new owners purchased an existing motel with the idea of converting it to a first-class resort. The gently sloping five-acre parcel had little usable plantings, save for two curving rows of 80-year-old cypresses. We redirected the entrance to the resort through the cypresses, making for a memorable arrival for visiting guests. Our master plan called for the creation of a unified look for the entire property, including a wide array of flowering plants which seem to bloom in every season of this fantastic marine micro-climate.
