The owners of this contemporary home on the Bay Area Pennisula had a problem: they desired a minimalistic, Zen-like garden but, unfortunately, nearby road noise significantly detracted from the peaceful outdoor experience they were seeking. We designed a stylized water feature which ran from the front garden through to the back, culminating in an innovative, keyhole echo chamber. The falling water had the desired effect of masking the road noise, much to the delight of the owners.
